Before buying, measure the height of your mattress to see how it will fit inside the bed frame (there is a board where your mattress will be placed). The inside depth of the frame is 14cm (from the board to the top of the frame). For example, if your mattress is 25cm high, 14cm will sit inside the frame, leaving 11cm visible above it—this, and higher, is standard for beds with a built-in base frame
