A stunning Vintage tea set by the Johnson Bro's which consists of a teapot and 6 teacups. Johnson Brothers were known for introducing early semi-porcelain tableware. Founded by Frederick and Alfred Johnson way back in 1883, the brothers were actually the grandsons of renowned English potter, Alfred Meakin, which no doubt helped to stir up interest in their new pottery venture.
The soft yellow teapot has a tall and elegant shape with a nice curved detail on the lid top. This set is in great condition. No chips, cracks or grazing.
Tea Pot: 21,5cm W X 19cm H
