A striking statement in craftsmanship and simplicity, this cabinet is handcrafted from solid Kiaat — a richly toned African hardwood known for its expressive grain and durability. Possibly a one of piece custom manufactured.
The design features two doors with a bold geometric façade, where the natural variations of the wood grain create a diamond-like pattern across the front panels. Inside, the cabinet features two spacious shelves that can be adjusted to different heights, providing versatile storage options for linens, books, barware, or collectibles.
The solid construction gives the doors a satisfying weight when opened, reflecting the quality of the joinery and materials used. The piece stands elegantly on a recessed plinth, with dovetailed joins, lending it both visual grounding and sculptural presence.
A timeless and adaptable addition to any interior — perfect as a drinks cabinet, media console, or refined linen cupboard.
Condition:
Beautifully restored and sealed to enhance the Kiaat’s natural warmth and depth of tone. Excellent condition throughout. Owing to the weight of the solid Kiaat doors, the piece can feel slightly top-heavy when empty, though it stabilizes perfectly once in use.
Dimensions:
121cm W X 39cm D X 107cm H
