An iconic DS Vorster & Co sideboard, crafted in richly toned Sapele Mahogany and defined by its slim, elegant proportions while offering an impressive amount of storage.

The elevated cabinetry is supported on a finely proportioned leg frame, with an additional open slatted shelf below providing another useful storage or display level without adding visual weight. The result is a substantial and highly functional sideboard that retains a light, sophisticated profile

Thoughtfully designed throughout, a drop-front drinks compartment opens to provide both bar storage and a convenient serving surface. Three central drawers offer further storage, with the upper drawer felt-lined for cutlery, while a longer shelved compartment is concealed behind two hinged doors.

Condition:

Fully restored and in overall good restored condition. Historical areas of damage and previous repairs have been carefully addressed. There is a very slight variation in the level of the top, noticeable only from certain angles, while the structure remains strong and sound, with minor age-related characteristics in keeping with its vintage history
