A magnificent Mid-Century Kiaat desk with 3 drawers in mostly solid wood including a solid top. The drawers have 'sunken handle space' at the bottom of each drawer for easy access with ample storage provided in the drawers. The top angled surface area has sufficient working space.
The wood grain is wonderful enabling this desk to complement most interiors. The inside leg has been previously supported with a steel bracket which we reinforced.
The wood has been restored and sealed and it is in great condition.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The quality, old veneer was long-lasting and for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded, and refinished. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the workmanship, condition, and thickness of the veneer itself.
