A vintage print of one of Vladimir Tretchikoff’s most recognisable portraits, Miss Wong, first painted in 1955. This work forms part of the artist’s celebrated series of Asian-inspired portraits that helped cement his global popularity through the mid-twentieth century. With her serene expression, softly modelled features, and distinctive green-toned skin, Miss Wong became one of his most widely collected and reproduced images.
A striking and iconic artwork that brings instant mid-century charm, nostalgia, and collectible value to any interior.
Condition:
Presented in its original period frame and named. The frame remains in good vintage condition, with gentle signs of age and a minor wood crack along the upper section.
The print features a subtly raised, glaze-like finish, particularly noticeable in the hair and clothing, adding depth and texture to the image. Some age-related markings are visible in the glazed surface, but these do not detract from the overall presentation or appeal of the piece.
Dimensions:
58cm W x 3 cm D x 69 cm H
