A small, but very charming floral artwork signed E. J. Rogoff, depicting a basket of warm orange flowers resting on a sunlit windowsill.
The composition combines delicate ink detailing with soft washes of colour. Rich green foliage, terracotta orange blooms and a muted blue backdrop create an intimate, nostalgic scene, reminiscent of a quiet moment in a country home.
The work is attributed to South African artist Eileen J. Rogoff, whose paintings include landscapes, portraits and floral studies. Her work has appeared on the South African secondary art market, including at Stephan Welz & Co.
Presented behind glass with generous white mounting and a vibrant red wooden frame, adding a playful contrast to the softer tones of the artwork.
