Stunning Espresso set - SPAL Portugal
SPAL is a respected Portuguese porcelain manufacturer with a strong history of innovative tableware design. In 1970, the company launched a design competition, with a winning proposal by renowned Portuguese designer Daciano da Costa. His designs explored geometric decoration, Pop Art influences, and reinterpretations of Art Deco.
Modernist tableware. The pot has a tall, slender pouring spout, elongated neck, small pointed lid, and a sweeping handle, and the rest of the set echoes this design style.
