Rare, South African Mid-Century dining room set, manufactured by Duros (SA Furniture makers) during the 60's. This maple wood dining set has 6 unusual shaped chairs re-upholstered in Hertex velvet. The table has an extendable leaf that extends to an 8-seater. We have stripped the old varnish off both the tables and chairs, sanded it back to the bare wood and sealed this set in a non-yellowing sealant. A beautiful set to own. Very slight color variation between the extendable leaf and table. This is usually due to the center leaf that has not been in use for many years.
