The Classic dumb valets present a refined and highly functional solution for everyday organisation, unified here by its proportions and newly restored black finish. They are photographed and listed together for context, but are sold separately.
One valet is a confirmed example by Fratelli Reguitti, a celebrated Italian manufacturer renowned for elegant wooden accessories throughout the mid-20th century. Dating to the 1960s, with brass detailing, exuding durability with understated sophistication. The design includes a shaped coat hanger to support jackets and shirts, a horizontal trouser rail, and a shallow top tray ideal for cufflinks, watches, or glasses. Original castor wheels allow for easy movement, reinforcing their practical, everyday appeal.
The second valet is unbranded, but closely matched in size, form, and overall construction, allowing the two to function seamlessly as a pair. While lacking a maker’s mark, its proportions, materials, and detailing strongly align with Italian production of the period.
Both valets have been carefully restored and stained in black, giving them a cohesive, contemporary look while preserving their vintage character and sculptural lines. Elegant, practical, and timeless, each works equally well in a bedroom, dressing room, or boutique setting.
