A wooden Mid-Century headboard for a double bed with beautiful wood & brass detail and two pedestals. This was manufactured by the renowned South African, DS Vorster. The pedestals are not attached and are free standing. A great quality set to last for many generations to come. The wood has been fully refurbished & refinished and is in great vintage condition. There is a slight size difference in the size of the pedestal drawers

The size of the headboard is 10cm wider than a standard double but 5cm shorter than a Queen size. Since the pedestals are not attached there is a possibility for both sizes if preferred should you not mind the overlap.

Headboard section: 147 x 5 x 133h | Pedestals: 62 x 41.5 x 59h

Cape Town / Durban shipment is NOT calculated at check-out. Select local pick up at check-out. Delivery to these areas are quoted for based on the dimensions of the item/s bought. Although all effort is made to refurbish our furniture to best represent their original state, it must be noted that majority of the items we source date between the 1950’s to late 1970’s. For this reason and although restored, signs of their vintage condition & age might still be visible. We will normally point out any visible / notable concerns.
