A piece made by DS Vorster & Co during the 60's with three drawers. The clean lines will fit in with most styles and interiors. The Sapele Mahogany has been restored & sealed and the piece is in great vintage condition. This piece can be used as a console, server, entrance table, desk or dresser.
As with mostly all Mid-Century pieces it is a good combination of solid wood AND a high quality wood veneer. Quality old veneer was long-lasting and for this reason it can be retouched or sanded and refinished. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on workmanship, condition and thickness of the veneer itself.
