A very contemporary look, yet manufactured during the 60's, which is a testament to the timeless design of mid-century modern furniture, especially by DS Vorster.
The wood has been restored, sanded and resealed and the set is in overall great condition.
The seats have new fabric in a textured high-quality weave fabric from Hertex Fabrics.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The quality, old veneer was long-lasting and for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the workmanship, condition and thickness of the veneer itself.
