Beautifully shaped John Tabraham designed, sapele mahogany dresser with 7 drawers and one mirror. Note the interesting design on the center drawer with it being "hidden" with no handle to ensure it follows the curve of the design style. The top of the dresser has a removable glass top for protection. Tabraham was a SA designer and designed furniture for the likes of Ds Vorster & Kallenbach etc.
In great, fully restored condition with the mirror showing a few age spots, however in overall great refurbished condition. The glass top on the work surface is in good condition, with one small chip along the edge. The wood on the stool has been fully refurbished, with the fabric still in great condition.

Take note of all photos or view the item in-store prior to purchasing.
As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness the quality of the old veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
