This quintessential Mid-Century dressing table by Frystark Furniture has one long drawer and one cabinet space. There is sufficient cabinet and drawer space that could be used to place cosmetic products. Notice the unique position of the mirror. Frystark Furniture was based in Port Elizabeth and produced high quality furniture with wood and veneer sourced from Europe.
The wood has been restored and sealed and it is in great condition. The makers mark is on the inside of the drawers. The original tilt mirror has been cleaned, however it has a minor crack on the bottom right, that can easily be hidden with a perfume bottle or product.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The quality, old veneer was long-lasting and for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded, and refinished. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the workmanship, condition, and thickness of the veneer itself.
