A pair of Mahogany Mid-Century carvers. These are great to add to an existing dining set or to use with a study desk.
The wood has been restored and sealed and the item is in great condition with upholstery having been done in a Hertex fabric that well complements the wood of the chairs.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The quality, of the old veneer, was long-lasting and for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's workmanship, condition, and thickness.
