Magnificent brass framed, vintage Glass Display/Shop Counter with a graceful curve. A timeless masterpiece by F. Sage & Co. Ltd. This exquisite piece exudes charm and functionality, seamlessly blending vintage charm with practical storage solutions.

Every aspect of this cabinet exudes excellence; from the glass sliding doors on brass runners to the original marked shelf brackets, and the inclusion of a seamless built-in brass ruler—the list of fine details goes on.

The bottom inside floor is solid oak as with the rest of the solid wood frame of the cabinet. Notice the parguet-like design on the floor of the cabinet.

Crafted with precision and finesse, this cabinet boasts a curved glass design that not only captivates the eye, but also offers a glimpse into its storied past. This clever design means you can have the cabinet sitting flush against a wall on one side, perfectly positioning the cabinet for ultimate use.

The brass accents, adorned with meticulously engraved measurements and the evocative locales of "London & Johannesburg," lend an air of intrigue and worldly elegance.

Tiered glass shelving sitting flush on marked brackets, provides ample room to showcase your most cherished collectibles, fine glassware, or prized spirits. Whether used as a display cabinet to flaunt your curated treasures or as a refined drinks cabinet to house your barware essentials, its versatility knows no bounds.

Rooted in the legacy of Frederick Sage & Co. (1831-98), renowned for their mastery in crafting fashionable shopfronts and fixtures from premium materials, this cabinet stands as a testament to timeless craftsmanship and quality. It beckons to be admired, cherished, and passed down through generations, adding a touch of sophistication to any space it graces.

Journey through time with this remarkable piece, where nostalgia meets modern allure in perfect harmony.

The brass frame has been cleaned and polished while the glass has been cleaned. For its age, this cabinet is in very good condition, with normal wear on the top surface glass, and no chips or cracks. The curved glass is still intact. One of the glass shelves has a slither on the corner and the top inner glass shelf has 2 brackets so suitable for placing lighter items.
