This exceptional Artecasa sideboard, crafted from solid Kiaat, is a triumph of Mid-Century design. Built at the distinguished Artecasa factory in Johannesburg by two Italian brothers, the Maraschin siblings, it embodies a rare fusion of European modernist flair and South African craftsmanship.
Its composition is as practical as it is refined: two slender top drawers for cutlery and smaller essentials; expansive cabinets on either side, each fitted with adjustable shelving; and, at the centre, a dignified drop-down drinks cabinet with a cutaway shelf, elegantly conceived to present glassware or fine spirits.
With its generous proportions, architectural lines, and richly figured Kiaat grain, this sideboard radiates sophistication. Both enduring in build and timeless in style, it transcends utility to become an heirloom of distinction—an authoritative statement of Mid-Century elegance for any interior.
