Vintage "Aristocraft" Mahogany dressing table with mirror and an added stool. The table features five drawers, providing ample storage space for cosmetics and jewelry. The drawer fronts have been stained black and are paired with brass handles. The mirror has a tilting mechanism. The maker's mark is visible on the middle drawer, although partially worn.
There is a slight lift on one section on the top, right-hand side, from previous damage which we can only assume was water damage. This has been addressed to the best of our ability, but will remain - it will, however, not worsen. Overall it is not highly noticeable, but the mark is there. This piece has been stripped, sanded, and sealed for a refreshed finish.

While we refurbish pieces to best reflect their original state, please note that most items date from the 1950s-1970s, so signs of age or minor repair marks may still be visible. As with most Mid-Century pieces and a hallmark of the era, it is a combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. Veneer has a rich history in furniture design, is admired for its craftsmanship, durability, and aesthetic appeal and is a long and honorable tradition. The quality of the veneer's artistry was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
