This magnificent original Mid-Century, G-Plan wall unit, designed by E-Gomme in the 1960s, embodies the elegance and functionality that defined the era. The unit is thoughtfully composed of sectional units. One of which is specially designed to round off the unit and/or to fit a corner, maximizing space efficiency and offering versatile storage options. Above the lower, the credenza-style unit, features two top sections, offering shelved storage each with its glass sliding doors that reveal two spacious shelves each, perfect for displaying, glasses, cherished items, or storing everyday essentials.

The corner unit is a standout feature, making it possible to use as a standalone cabinet, boasting three additional shelves that provide space for display or storage, making it a practical yet stylish addition to any room.

Adding to its appeal, the unit is equipped with integrated lights underneath the glass-doored cabinet spaces, creating a warm, inviting ambiance and beautifully highlighting the items within.

The wood has been restored and sealed and it is in overall great restored condition with a mark here and there indicating its vintage age and use.

Note/Disclaimer:

Although all effort is made to refurbish our furniture to best represent its original state, it must be noted that most of the items we source date between the 1950s to the late 1970s. For this reason and although restored, signs of their vintage condition & age might still be visible. We will normally point out any visible/notable concerns. Take note of all photos or view the item in-store before purchasing.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness. The quality of the veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
