A Unique piece indeed! This is a stunning Art Deco cabinet probably from the late 1940s, featuring elegantly curved sides and tiered storage shelves. Originally a cabinet & custom built on the inside, fit for purpose. The open-front design allows for easy access, making it practical for various uses.
Crafted with high-quality walnut solid-wood veneer, the curves are bookmatched in the traditional manner, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship. The walnut veneer is beautifully finished to accentuate the piece's graceful curves.
The open-front design provides ample space for storage, making it a versatile addition to any room in the home. It can be used to store book collections, barware items, ornaments, and more.
This cabinet has undergone a complete restoration and is in excellent, restored condition. We touched up the top to match the bottom end of the cabinet in a darker water-based stain.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness the quality of the old veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
