This vintage haberdashery cabinet has been carefully restored, with the patina on the steel inner drawers and pulls intentionally preserved for character. The drawer fronts, crafted from solid wood with an aluminium-steel frame, it features 24 drawers in an angled configuration for maximum display impact. The wood has been restored to showcase its natural beauty, while the original glass top shows wear consistent with age.
A substantial and heavy piece built to last for generations, it offers versatile use—as a chest of drawers in a bedroom, a server for displaying dinnerware, or as a striking retail display.
Due to its size, weight, and glass top, delivery outside the Gauteng area will require crating. Please refer to our shipping policy for details.
Condition:
Age-related wear has been intentionally preserved as an ode to the piece’s history. The wood has been restored, with the side panels stained black to complement the black steel legs. The original glass is intact, showing light wear consistent with age. Only some of the steel drawer pulls show very gentle bowing, adding to the cabinet’s authentic vintage character.
