An elegant lounge chair, crafted with a solid wood frame showcasing warm grain tones, smooth sculpted armrests, and tapered legs. The form is clean yet characterful, with subtle curves that lend both comfort and presence.
The seat and backrest are made from a single continuous piece of thick black leather that wraps around the frame and is secured with rivet detail. The leather has developed a beautiful patina through time — including natural age-related markings and surface creases. These are not faults, but a desirable testament to the chair’s life and authenticity, adding warmth, softness, and that classic established vintage feel.
The chair offers a deep, supportive, and very comfortable seat, making it ideal for a reading corner, lounge, or quiet pause space.
The leather has been cleaned and given a nourishing treatment. To maintain suppleness going forward, we recommend treating it periodically with a quality leather cream or leather balm.
Condition:
Vintage and in good structural condition. The wood frame has been refreshed. The leather retains its original character with age-related wear and patina consistent with natural aging, such as surface lines/creases/grazing, etc. Cleaned and conditioned.
