A rare & collectible G-Plan shelf unit from the late 1950s to mid-1960s, designed during the brand's iconic E. Gomme era from the Librenza range. Originally conceived it could have functioned as a compact record or radio stand. Today, it adapts effortlessly as a media unit, drinks station, or sculptural display shelf.
This item features the classic G Plan aesthetic: slim tapering legs finished in black with brass-capped feet, warm wood tones, and vertical support rods that add visual lightness while maintaining structural strength.
G Plan was introduced in the early 1950s by the British manufacturer E. Gomme Ltd. in High Wycombe. It became one of the most influential furniture brands of the mid-century era, known for modern, modular living designs that broke away from the traditional suite-based interiors of the time.

Restored and refurbished to its original glory, cleaned, structurally sound, and ready to be styled and enjoyed. Very minor wear.
