NOTE: The price is for the PAIR of Vintage Beds
They will make a bold statement in any kids' room, guest house, or holiday home
Vintage at its finest.
A charming and seldom-seen pair of single bedframes, defined by softly curved headboards and footends, likely steam-bent, and refined vertical spindle detailing. The design strikes a considered balance between warmth and restraint, offering a quietly confident presence that feels both timeless and effortlessly adaptable. These beds are incredibly interestingly built.
Constructed from a combination of Solid Wood (Teak, Oregon pine, and pine), the frames carry a natural tonal variation that adds depth and character, with the teak elements bringing a richer warmth. The form leans toward a restrained, almost Scandinavian-influenced aesthetic, while still holding onto a more traditional sensibility through the arched design.
It is worth noting that the two frames differ slightly in the height at which the springform bases sit, a subtle variation that does not detract from their overall pairing but is important to consider depending on mattress choice and intended use.
A previous repair on the side beams has been thoughtfully executed on one of the beds, with the replacement seamlessly matched to the original tone. Carefully resolved and structurally sound, it reads as part of the piece’s honest history rather than a distraction.
Overall, a versatile and well-proportioned pair that would sit comfortably in a guest room, children’s room, or even styled together in a shared space. Fully usable as is, with gentle signs of age that speak to their longevity without compromising function.
The springform bases are an interesting detail in themselves, designed in a way that they do not run the full length to the head or foot ends. This is likely intentional, as these areas typically carry less direct weight, allowing the support to be concentrated where it matters most. Both beds retain their original metal springform bases.
Each base sits slightly inset within the frame, creating a subtle visual break at both ends while still offering ample, well-distributed support across the main sleeping area.
The length of only the spring bases is: 161cm each, but overall, between the headboard and foot end is 193 cm Long each.
This thoughtful construction speaks to a practical, considered approach to everyday use, while maintaining the lightness of the overall design.
Condition:
Restored, with gentle signs of age that speak to their longevity without compromising function. Minor movement without the mattress, but once clicked with bed brackets, they are secure.

Our images form part of the item description. While we make every effort to restore our furniture to its original state, most pieces date from the 1950s to the late 1970s. As a result, and despite restoration, signs of their vintage nature and previous life may still be visible. Light traces of restoration may remain visible, consistent with authentic vintage furniture. In some cases, minor adjustments may also have been made during the restoration process to ensure the piece remains functional and usable. We will point out any notable aspects where possible. We encourage in-store viewing or careful review of photographs before purchase.
