A beautiful Mid-century highboard, fantastic for drinks as it features a drop-fronted drinks serving compartment. It was manufactured during the ’60s by Aristo Craft Furniture, and very much in the style of Wrighton of London and G-Plan’s high boards.

This piece can be used in many settings where storage is required.

Two deep drawers at the bottom, one is longer to aesthetically fit the cabinet spaces alongside another drawer beneath the drop-fronted door. An additional wide, top cutlery drawer too, glass shelved cabinet space, and more storage behind the drop-fronted cabinet.

The wood is in great condition with the original polished finish still great. We lightly restored where needed to ensure we keep the authenticity of this piece. We have replaced the outdated handles with leather handles with brass detailing. Only a few darker marks slightly visible on the top, but polished.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it combines solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness the quality of the old veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
