A stunning Teak finished Vintage sideboard, very reminiscent of the work by British maker, McIntosh Furniture. The sideboard has three drawers for storage, these drawers are sleek and minimal also with incorporated grab handles. The top drawer is lined with felt, providing a soft and protective surface.
On the left side of the sideboard, there is a shelved cabinet space perfect for drinks and bottles. Between the drawers and the cabinet space, there is an open glass shelved space. This space can be used for additional storage or for displaying decorative items.
This vintage sideboard combines the functionality of drawers for concealed storage with open shelving for displaying and accessing items. It captures the aesthetic and design elements typically associated with McIntosh furniture, known for its quality craftsmanship and mid-century modern style.
The sideboard has been restored and sealed and it is in good functional condition. Please note that there are minor marks on the top of the sideboard consistent with age & use, but further restoration would have damaged the wood veneer that is still in great, now restored condition. Refer to all photos. It would seem that the centre cabinet had a door once, way back, however, we have made it into a functional open storage space with a glass shelf.

The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness the quality of the old veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
