This pair of armchairs showcases a confident approach to structure, proportion and craftsmanship. The design is defined by sculptural solid timber frames, featuring dipped armrests, tapered legs, and beautifully shaped backrest frames.
The result is a set that feels visually light yet robust and well-balanced. The exposed framework is both architectural and inviting, allowing the quality of the craftsmanship to be appreciated from every angle.
The chairs have been fully restored and refurbished to a high standard. The timber frames have been carefully repaired and refinished, while the seat and back cushions have been fitted with new foam and upholstered in a fresh, premium textured fabric, offering improved comfort without compromising the original design language. The fabric is a dark grey with a subtle blue hue, aptly named “Night Sky.”
These armchairs work equally well as statement pieces in a living space, as occasional chairs, or within a considered mid-century interior where structure and honest materials take centre stage. Likely attributed to Frystark Furniture.

Condition:
Fully restored and beautifully finished, this couch is ready to make a statement in its next space. The original spring system remains intact at the back and beneath the seats, showing only gentle age-related wear, including some wear to the original plastic bands around the springs.
