The Le Corbusier (LC4) Chaise Longue, often hailed as the "ultimate relaxing machine," is an enduring icon of modernist design. Originally conceived in 1928 through the visionary collaboration of Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand, this chaise embodies the radical design shift of the late 1920s. While frequently attributed to Le Corbusier, much of the design credit belongs to Charlotte Perriand, whose pioneering work redefined modern interiors during the Art Deco era in Paris.

This particular LC4 replica is in very good used condition. The chrome frame has been carefully cleaned to restore its original luster, while the Bovine hide upholstery and matching headrest remain in good shape - some wear marks are visible, typical of the leather, retaining their natural beauty and comfort. All four foot pads are intact.

A masterpiece of both form and function, the LC4 is designed to follow the body's natural contours, offering adjustable reclining positions for personalized relaxation. The black steel base provides a sturdy, stationary foundation, while the chrome-plated tubular frame is precision-engineered to balance atop it, allowing for seamless movement and ergonomic support.

Beyond its practical comfort, the LC4 Chaise Longue stands as a bold statement piece - its industrial elegance and sculptural form making it a coveted addition to any contemporary space. A true timeless classic, this chaise continues to embody the spirit of modernism, innovation, and refined luxury.
