This is truly a gem in the true sense and indeed modular. This versatile Teak modular wall unit, reminiscent of the "Ulfa Series" from Sweden, is a wonderful find. With ample storage, display, and a convenient drinks cabinet, it offers practicality with a touch of elegance.
Its modular design allows for flexibility, whether used as a cohesive unit or divided to suit various spaces (the base units are also modular, so can be split). With three distinct base units, including one with a drop-front drinks cabinet, this unit can adapt to different rooms or configurations effortlessly, adding a sophisticated library-style aesthetic wherever it's placed.
The unit comprises three separate base units, each equipped with shelved cabinets. Additionally, these cabinets can be securely positioned on top of the base units. Notably, one of the base units boasts both shelved cabinets and a convenient drop-down drinks cabinet.
The shelved cabinet spaces can be used to display various items from collector pieces, book collections, plants, decor items, etc. The bottom storage cabinets may be used for drinks storage or media storage. The possibilities are endless with this timeless piece!
The wood has been fully restored and sealed and it is in overall great restored condition with some minor wear visible consistent with age and use, but overall mostly visible on only one section of one base unit.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness the quality of the old veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
