This sideboard is no exception. Four symmetrically positioned doors, and good clean design lines.
Drop-fronted centred door, forming a good drinks section, a drawer and storage behind another door and shelved storage behind the other doors.
This sideboard has undergone extensive restoration and now, in overall great restored condition now. It’s a solid Kiaat and veneer combination as with most mid-century pieces. One of the legs was broken, veneer repairs, hardly noticeable, solid Kiaat edging repairs etc. A really good looking piece.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness the quality of the old veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
