A gorgeous queen-size Mid-Century Kiaat headboard with attached pedestals, likely to be made by 'Novocraft furniture'. The clean straight lines of this headboard will stay relevant and suitable in terms of decor and style. The attached wide pedestals have ample storage space in 4 drawers, two on each side.  Please note the height on these vintage pieces since modern bed sets are normally higher.

The wood has been restored and the headboard is in excellent vintage condition.

Inside measurement between pedestals: 155cm      Pedestal height: 65cm

274cm X 54cm X 84H

As with mostly all Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood AND a high-quality wood veneer. The quality, old veneer was long-lasting and for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the workmanship, condition and thickness of the veneer itself
