A Mid-Century Maple dressing table most probably made during the '60s by Duros. A stunning design with the typical rounded lines and interesting leg detail. The rich honey color of the Maple will add interest to any space. The shaped mirror is in good condition with age-related wear.
The brass detail at the back of the dresser legs and original brass handles adds to the overall look. The second top tier adds to the charm and character of this piece.
The wood has been restored to the best of our ability, but it had extensive damage. A rare find. A few marks indicating its vintage condition and wear visible.

As with mostly all Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood AND a high-quality wood veneer. The quality, old veneer was long-lasting and for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the workmanship, condition and thickness of the veneer itself
