A beautifully proportioned queen-size bed & frame, crafted in richly toned solid Sapele Mahogany and defined by the maker’s balance of clean lines and refined detail. The headboard and footboard feature elegant carved & figured elements that add rhythm and lightness to the overall structure, while the gently tapered legs give the bed a poised, architectural stance. Possibly attributed to DS Vorster & Co.
The warm mahogany grain presents with depth and clarity, recently restored and sealed to enhance the timber's natural character while ensuring durability for everyday use. The frame’s construction reflects solid workmanship, with well-fitted joints and a confident, sturdy feel throughout.
Please note that a base board is not included. However, a reinforced support beam has been added along the inside of the side panels, allowing a base board to be securely placed and supported with ease. Al My with this, new bed brackets have been added to keep the structure secure. This thoughtful addition ensures the bed is fully functional once a base is installed, without compromising the integrity or appearance of the frame.

Transport of this bed will be super easy as it dismantles.
