This Vintage dining set combines simplicity with functionality, featuring an extendable dining table and six comfortable chairs.
The table includes a middle leaf, allowing it to extend and seat 6 guests. The accompanying chairs are designed for comfort, with their cushioned backrests. The clean lines and understated design of this set make it a versatile addition to any dining area, seamlessly complementing a variety of home interiors.
The wood has been restored and sealed and upholstery has been in a dark charcoal/black thick linen style. Whilst we have restored & repaired the entire set, the table specifically bears some minor age-related imperfections, overall not very noticeable. The set is over 60 years old, but much adorned and now in line with contemporary designs.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness. The quality of the veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
