This Mid-Century dining table is by Portwood Furniture Ltd (UK), most probably manufactured during the 1960s. Note the table and chairs are sold separately. (Kindly refer to the information below).
Notice the leg design on both the table and chairs (featured in the photos) which adds an elegant touch to the overall design.
It is an extendable oval dining table in Teak. A stylish and classic choice for your dining room! The oval dining table features a smooth, extendable tabletop with rounded edges.
The wood has been restored and sealed.
Note the chairs sit alongside the legs of the table and don't slide in underneath the table extended or unextended, but make a fantastic set. The chairs were part of the set, but due to the above, the table and chairs are available to be bought separately.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness the quality of the old veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
