A Retro Imbuia, 8 seater patio or dining set with steel frames and table on hairpin style legs. A set that will last for many years to come and provide comfort with the seat angle. Extremely Sturdy with an industrial look but not a heavy look since the steel creates an open feel.
Each individual piece on the solid imbuia chairs were removed, stripped, sanded and re-sealed with an outdoor sealant in case you need to use the set outdoors under roof. The wood on the table has been restored and sealed and the steel is in the original great vintage condition. Ideal for a covered patio.
As with mostly all Mid-Century pieces it is a good combination of solid wood & a high quality wood veneer. Quality old veneer was long-lasting and for this reason it can be retouched or sanded and refinished. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on workmanship, condition and thickness of the veneer itself.
