This set of six Rosewood mid-century modern dining chairs perfectly balances style and functionality. With a design reminiscent of Skovby from Denmark, these chairs embody the timeless elegance of the era. While the original maker's mark is no longer present, research strongly suggests their Danish origin.

The wooden frames have been restored and treated with Danish oil, ensuring their natural beauty shines through and the variation in the solid Rosewood woodgrain adds to their charm. During the restoration process, two backrests were repaired after the old upholstery was removed, and all chairs were carefully stabilized for durability.

The chairs have been re-upholstered in a stylish Houndstooth textured fabric, adding a touch of sophistication. Due to repairs on the backrests, one chair is slightly angled compared to the other chairs. However, this subtle variation is virtually unnoticeable when arranged around a table. 

These chairs are an excellent representation of mid-century design, showcasing refined craftsmanship. Despite being over 60 years old, they remain in good condition, a testament to their quality manufacturing. We have carefully repaired some backrests before the new upholstery. Preserving their elegance ensures they remain a centerpiece of sophistication. We recommend treating them with care to preserve their integrity. These chairs are designed for the discerning eye, showcasing a refined style that may not tolerate the impact of activities such as riding on them.
