A vibrant collection of mid-20th-century Lucia Ware ceramics, showcasing the bold colours and sculptural forms that made this South African pottery studio a favourite among collectors. Known for their lively glazes and distinctive stamped bases, Lucia Ware pieces bring an unmistakable vintage charm to any setting.
This group includes a mix of classic shapes – from the soft yellow “bag” style planter to a delicate blue vase with ribbon-like handles, a deep black low planter, a red sectional dish, and other decorative forms. Each piece is hand-finished, with stamped markings and shape numbers visible on the underside, making them ideal for display, styling, or as unique planters.
Note: The Black Leaf bowl is not marked, but the style, glazing, and hand-finished form closely resemble Lucia Ware pieces from the same era.
Provenance: Lucia Ware (South Africa, 1940s–1970s) – highly collectible for its playful forms and mid-century modern appeal.

Condition:
All items are in good vintage condition with minor wear and age-typical glaze crazing. The blue vase shows a fine age-related line at the base, typical for pottery of this age.
