One of the most sought-after pieces of furniture from the Mid-Century era, the Lubis daybed/couch. A perfect local, SA made reproduction during the 60's of the Ercol daybed with the only notable difference being in the extra leg added in the middle for stability. This can be used as a large couch and as a single bed for guests. Made from Elm and Oak with the backrest being shaped from a large board of Elm. Highly collectible and hard to find.
The wood has been restored and sealed and new upholstery added in a versatile "Mussel" color Hertex fabric with specs of yellow. We have added three scatters, with a feather mix inner to compliment the color and couch. Two of the scatter cushions have yellow fronts.
The wood was stained very dark, so we have opted to strip it to best represent it's original state.
