A retro two-toned chest of drawers with 4 drawers. The two toned wood and painted parts were typical of the period. The wood has been fully refurbished, the previous paint stripped and the drawers repainted in off-white.
This piece provides ample storage and will fit in with most styles and interiors. Gorgeous legs and beautiful handles. The chest is in overall excellent condition with only a few marks here and there indicating it's vintage age. No keys.

As with mostly all mid-century pieces it is a good combination of solid wood & a high quality wood veneer. Quality old veneer was long-lasting and for this reason it can be retouched or sanded and refinished. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on workmanship, condition and thickness of the veneer itself.
