A striking and uncommon king-size headboard from the mid-century era, likely dating to the 1960s - 1970s. Featuring bold, angular lines and a warm mahogany finish, this piece blends timeless design with practical functionality.
At its center, a built-in storage compartment with two smooth-sliding doors offers ample space for cushions, blankets, or books, keeping your bedroom neat and clutter-free. As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness the quality of the old veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
