It is in its original condition, touched up by us where needed, however, we kept this as original as possible as the paint chipping fading, etc should be part of the charm and character of this vintage desk/dresser.
Age-related marks, top right-hand drawer more difficult to open than the rest. Some of the cane "scrolls" are not all in place or lost over the years, but are not very visible viewed overall. One has to look and compare sides to find the ones, not intact.
