The wood has been fully restored and sealed. The solid Oak structure is in excellent restored condition and the timeless book-matched, highly figured wood veneer on the doors is still in good condition and lightly restored to maintain its original appearance and not detract from its originality. Minor wear here and there consistent with age. A new mirror fitted on the pull-out tray.

The quality of the veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
