A striking six-drawer vintage architect's drawer set, restored with intention while honouring its industrial roots. Each drawer is fitted with a flip-down “holder” to keep the blueprints or paperwork intact.
The exterior has been fully stripped, carefully sanded, and refinished in a deep black coating that enhances the strong, graphic lines of the piece. The drawer alignment has been corrected with the side rails welded where needed, allowing each drawer to glide far more smoothly than before, restoring both function and integrity.
In respect of its age and story, the interior has been smoothed and sanded but not over-refined or recoated. Original rusted patina marks remain inside, deliberately preserved as a quiet nod to its working past. It is this balance between refinement and authenticity that gives the piece its character.
Solid, honest, and unapologetically utilitarian, this is storage with presence. Perfect for creative spaces, studios, or interiors that appreciate heritage layered with modern restraint.
Condition:
Repaired and in overall good condition with wear consistent with it's vintage age and use. Outer stripped and recoated in black steel paint. Inner sanded & smoothed to remove surface rust. Note: Visible Patina as per photos.
