A set of eight Vintage "Kenbow" ladder-back dining chairs with a beautifully shaped leg base, most probably 60's made. The ladder-back style is a classic and iconic design element of mid-century furniture, known for its cleaner lines. A fantastic combination of vintage charm and mid-century appeal.
The restored wood showcases its original grain patterns and brings out the warmth and richness of its natural mahogany color.
The dining chairs are in excellent restored condition with new upholstery & a lovely textured Hertex fabric in a vibrant green.
Matching round dining table extending to an oval table is available separately here. The table is the actual Kenbow table. Note: While the chairs can fit comfortably under the tabletop, they are not designed to slide in between the table legs.
This type of design is quite common in oval dining tables with accompanying chairs. The chairs are usually designed to fit neatly under the table's overhang, allowing for efficient use of space and a tidy appearance when not in use.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness the quality of the old veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
