This pair is a high-quality vintage replica, distinguished by its polished stainless steel frames, beautifully tailored cushions, and carefully executed construction. The frames present a seamless appearance, free from the obvious welding marks often found on lower-quality reproductions, while the signature suspended leather strap system creates the floating effect that made the design famous.
Generously proportioned and exceptionally comfortable, the chairs feature deep button tufted cushions upholstered in black split leather. Unlike bonded leather, split leather is a genuine natural material that remains supple, breathable, and comfortable to the touch, allowing the cushions to retain the elegant pleating and soft contours associated with the original design. The support straps are finished in bonded leather, faithfully replicating the appearance of the originals while providing durable support beneath the cushions.
The frames, cushions, and straps have been cleaned and treated. The original support system/straps remains in very good condition, with only light signs of age and minor scuff marks visible on one chair only, consistent with use and a well-cared-for vintage piece.

Very good vintage condition. Frames are polished and present beautifully. Cushions and support straps remain in excellent order, with very light age-related wear, and scuff marks (only one on one chair as per photos) commensurate with use and adding to their authenticity.
