The lamp is in all probability manufactured by Asmuth Leuchten, a German lighting manufacturer active during the 1960 - 1970s period, known for producing refined, well-crafted pieces that combined functional design with warm material palettes such as wood, brass, and textured shades.
The design balances solid timber and brass detailing with effortless elegance. A softly tapered wooden stem transitions into a slender brass upright, anchored by a solid, round wooden base with a clean, grounded presence. The proportions are particularly well considered, giving the piece a light, vertical stance while still feeling stable and substantial.
The vintage shade remains intact, finished in a natural woven fabric that casts a warm, ambient glow. Internally, the dual bulb fitting enhances light output, making it both atmospheric and practical for everyday use.
Subtle details, such as the pull-chain switch and the contrast between the matte wood and polished brass, speak to the quality and thoughtfulness of the design.

Condition:
Working condition. Wooden elements were stripped, sanded, and resealed, highlighting the tone of the wood. The shade does show some signs of age-related wear, but functional as is.
