These sculptural swivel chairs by Italian brand Kristalia offer a confident blend of modern contemporary design with a clear nod to mid-century principles of form, function, and comfort. Designed in 2002 by Monica Graffeo and Ruggero Magrini, the Boum chair expresses not just a furnishing concept, but a relaxed and considered lifestyle approach to seating.

The design features a smooth white polypropylene shell paired with a 360-degree swivel base in brushed stainless steel, giving the chairs a clean architectural presence. Ergonomic padding ensures comfort, while the upholstered seat enhances usability across a range of settings.

When still in production, Kristalia Boum swivel chairs retailed internationally at approximately R9800 to R10500 per chair, reflecting their considered design, materials, and Italian manufacture. We are offering the two chairs with minor fabric nicks at R1 650 each, and the remaining six chairs at R2 766 each, representing exceptional value given their design provenance, versatility, and enduring appeal. They are sold as a set of 8.

Condition:
All the chairs have been professionally cleaned. The overall condition is good, with light signs of use consistent with age and use. Two chairs previously had very small fabric imperfections/nicks, which have been addressed and are now stable and discreet, likely from incidental contact such as clothing or accessories. Minor marks remain in places, but do not detract from the overall appearance or functionality.
