A clever utilitarian vintage Kardex filing cabinet, originally designed for organised storage in industrial, office, or workshop environments. Each cabinet features eight shallow pull-out drawers, complete with original industrial labels, metal pulls, and their original filing/index cards still present inside — a wonderful nod to their working history. For those wanting a more versatile use, the dividers and cards can be removed, allowing the drawers to adapt to a variety of storage needs.
Despite their compact footprint, the drawers are surprisingly practical, with an internal width of 22.5cm, comfortably accommodating A4 sized documents. Their shallow profile also makes them ideal for organising artwork, photographs, stationery, jewellery, collectibles, sewing materials, craft supplies, small tools, or studio essentials.
